These tours are available year round and for every budget. Customised tour is a combination of daily group tour arrangements including hotels, sighseeings, most meals and transportation put together in a package to suit your needs and time frame. Transportation will be by public transportation (ferries or flights) and transfers will be made by minibus or car. Our drivers will meet and transfer you to the hotel, port or airport at each destination you visit.
Its is not fully escorted tour and you will not be travelling with the same guide or group of people during your journey. You may stay in the hotel category or hotel of your choice and may either fly or use other alternative ways of transportation.
If you are not the type of person who like escorted tours and wants to have evenings free or days of leisure – this will the best choise for you!
Max. size of a tour party will be around 35 people. However, most of our tours with a smaller group so that you will be closer to your local guide for a more in-depth experience, you'll spend less time waiting to get into sights and it will be faster checking into hotels with your luggage arriving quicker to your room. Our tour groups are smaller, more intimate and more friendly than many other travel agents.
We can use all kind of transportation where it is cheaper and more convenient for you. Most of your transfers will be made by private taxi or minibus while you will may request for an overnight coach if you do not want to fly between major sites. Tour coaches are modern Mercedes or similar which are equipped with reclining seats, air-conditioning and heating, television and music.
You may also use domestic flights on Turkish Airlines or other airlines depending on your preference.
We always try to find the kind of places in which we ourselves would choose to stay. Our hotels are consistently first class standard and higher or in a style appropriate to the destination. All will be clean and have ensuite facilities. We know you'll prefer to stay centrally, convenient to the main historic, shopping or entertainment districts; or scenically in areas of natural beauty. Some of our choices are amongst the best in the destination, and some are very simple indeed.
These are tours that we do not include in your pacakge but are offered at the start of your tour designed to enhance your travel experience. Your guide will have a list of available options and the appropriate costs. They are carefully programmed to coincide with the best highlights available at the time of your visit. It could be a Hotair Baloon Ride in Cappadocia, a traditional show in a restaurant or visits to the sites which are not listed on your tour. Both smokers and non- smokers are welcome on our tours. Although, smoking is not permitted in flights, public places, tour busses and public transportation, we do make plenty of convenience stops giving you the opportunity to smoke, use local restroom facilities, take a scenic snapshot or just relax and enjoy of cup of coffee.
Although, non-smoking rooms are available in most 4 or 5 Star hotels, we can not guarantee the availability till we confirm your reservations. Some hotels may not have non-smoking rooms.
We will do our best to accommodate these but regret that we cannot be responsible for them. You will need to feel that you are in charge of your own diet, and if necessary take vital foods with you.

We kindly require a deposit payment (%30) at time of booking to secure your reservations. The remaining payment (%50) is to be paid 45 days prior to the departure date and the final payment (20%) is to be paid in cash on arrival.
We accept the payment by credit card, mail order form or bank transfer.
Bank transfer: All money transfers must be effected without charge for beneficiary as our prices are net and no bank charges have been costed in. We will provide you with our banking details at the time of confirmation of the booking.
Credit Card: For your protection, we will need you to sign the form of the credit card payment upon delivery and verify with a legal identification (e.g. passport, driver licence’s copy) received after charging your credit card. We will inform you in advance of purchase of any credit card fees that may apply.
Cash: We can receive cash payments once you arrive in destination. Cash payments will be taken by our local hosts and you will receive a payment receipt upon your payment.
All cancellations must be made in writing directly to turkeytourexpert.com. No responsibility is taken for cancellations of airfare, hotel bookings or any other extra services which have been made directly by the client.
The following scale of charges will apply when cancellation is notified for all land packages, tours and programs ;
Prior to departure: Charge
60 days or more: 10% of selling price (Administrative Fee)
59-46 days: non refundable deposit 30% of selling price
45-8 days: 50% of selling price
7-0 days: 100% of selling price
The following scale of charges will apply when cancellation is notified for tours that include a Cruise program :
Prior to departure: Charge
45 days or more: 10% of selling price (Administrative Fee)
45-31 days: morenon refundable deposit 30% of selling price
30-15 days: 50% of selling price
14-8 days: 75% of selling price.
7-0 days: 100% of selling price.
In case you have to withdraw from a tour after it has begun for reasons such as illness, be sure to obtain a medical certificate in support of any insurance claim. We regret that we are not able to make refunds for absences from a tour, including but not limited to missed meals or sightseeing.
Flight/ferry/train/bus tickets are not included in the above cancellation policy. Once your program is confirmed and the tickets are purchased, any changes to the dates of the program will incur a change fee or in case of cancellation (this is additional to the service fee), 100% cancellation fee for the tickets will be incurred regardless of the above cancellation policy.
A fee of 50$ per person will be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed unless the change increases the value of the booking.
A change of tour date or tour itinerary within 45 days of tour departure (90 days for tours with Cruises) will be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply except when the change is to an earlier tour departure of equivalent or greater value in which case a 50$ per person amendment fee will be charged.
All required documents will normally be sent 21 days prior to departure by email while local bus, ferry or flight tickets can be deliveren upon arrival if they can not be sent as electronic ticket.
We recommend adequate travel insurance to cover all persons booking travel arrangements. Clients are advised to obtain their own insurance for health and/or baggage loss while traveling. Insurance is also recommended to provide coverage to clients if refunds pursuant to the final payment and cancellation clause below are unavailable due to the terms of that clause.
All foreigners, except those exempt from visa requirement, should obtain their visas at a Turkish consulate or embassy in their country. To be on the safe side, you better apply for your visa at least one month prior to your visit.
There are however some exceptions. Some foreigners, depending on their country of origin (USA, CANADA, AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEALAND & EU), can obtain a sticker type visa at the Turkish border gates. If you are one of the country listed below, we strongly recommend you to choose this option. Just a quick money transaction, they put a sticker in your passport, and you're all set. Make sure though that your passport has a validity of at least six months.
It is the responsibility of the client to obtain and carry a valid passport and any other documents including visas and international certificates of vaccination required for travel to, from and in the holiday destination.
Our transferman, driver or guide will be waiting outside the exit door of the arrivals hall/meeting point, after you collect your luggage. He/she will be holding a sign with your name on it.
